CONCLUSION

In conclusion, U2 is a religious band, there's no way to beat around the bush. U2 uses its religious undertones in music to not push a personal agenda, but in fact to just send messages that people can apply to their own day to day lives.

I don't believe it's bad that they use religious tones in their music, I personally find that the appealing part of them. I'm not religious in any way and don't agree with a lot of the practices of the catholic church, but I can adjust those lyrics to fit my own personal situations that I may be dealing with, and that's why I appreciate their music and image.
